Since the early 1950s our IPEX Electrical business has been making electrical non-metallic tubing and fittings for the building market and now has the industry’s widest range of solutions, all engineered to meet demanding construction industry standards.

Our solutions are designed to protect power, data, and telecoms cables from damage during the construction phase and throughout their lifetime.

Today, 23% of IPEX’s total revenues come from the supply of electrical solutions right across North America and to diverse end-markets from hospitality to infrastructure, construction and agriculture.

We supply a range of rigid pipes and fittings as part of our Scepter® range, while our non-corroding and non-conductive Cor-Line® tubing and Kwikon® fittings, slab boxes and accessories are designed for rugged construction site conditions, whether encased in concrete, hidden behind walls, or buried in the ground.

Innovation is every bit as important in electrical solutions as it is in water systems and we have brought many breakthrough product lines to market.

This includes the SceptaCon™ piping solution, one of the first PVC solutions designed for the rigours of trenchless applications and horizontal directional drilling. Linking seamlessly with existing conduit infrastructure, it allows utilities to standardise on PVC throughout their entire electrical system.

Our range also includes non-metallic lighting units, power and communications ducting and HDPE innerduct for telecoms, data and cable installations.

In a major win for IPEX, its Super Duct® DBII pipe and fittings and Scepter® Rigid Conduit solution was chosen for a giant new automated distribution centre being built by METRO, one of Ontario’s leading food and pharmacy retailers.

Our Cor-line® solution and Kwikon® fittings have also been selected for a new 17-storey condo development in the highly sought-after Forest Hill neighbourhood of Toronto.
