We want to enable people across Aliaxis to be better citizens, contributing to society and tackling climate change, both at work and at home.

That’s why we’ve launched the Aliaxis Climate School, a comprehensive yet easy to understand guide to climate science and the things colleagues can do in their daily lives to act on global warming.

The online learning tool comprises a series of modules including six on the science of sustainability and how climate change interlinks with natural resource use, biodiversity, human society and, of course, water.

The action section includes four modules that apply to everyone and five which are tailored to different job roles.

It’s a comprehensive learning programme but one which is highly relevant to all our lives. So far over 1,800 employees have registered to the online platform to take courses.

In deploying this training, we are joining other big companies who are mobilising their employees to become global citizens.

A group from our management team were first to attend the Climate School and the feedback has been excellent.

Cristina Cascante, an IT Business Partner in our Latam division described it as very friendly and easy to use.

“I found the modules extremely interesting, with really different content and quite captivating presentation. Each one was quite challenging, and I had to go back, review, take a notebook and really start studying. Honestly, I really enjoyed the Climate School experience.”
